Bayless cobb - NIGHTLIFE BIO
AD Nightclub
Founder and CEO
Bayless Cobb
Coronado-born entrepreneur Bayless Cobb is the ‘architect’ of the AD Nightclub concept. With an innate talent for bringing people together and a vast network of contacts that encompasses the who’s who of the nightlife and hospitality industries, he is responsible for assembling an all-star team of collaborators to bring the ultra-luxe nightlife venue to fruition.
As the son of a respected architect, entrepreneurial savvy is in Cobb’s blood. Bold and innovative, the University of California, Santa Barbara graduate has developed thriving real estate, finance and consulting businesses under the KDI Holdings company umbrella. His practical experience spans the disciplines of marketing, management and customer relations and has fueled his knowledge of the business of nightlife.
Cobb has been captivated by the former Red Circle space in San Diego’s Gaslamp District since 2009. He saw great potential in the uniquely L-shaped floor plan transformed to create a cutting-edge, high-end boutique nightclub venue unique to San Diego and the west coast. Four years later, Cobb’s vision of modern cathedral-inspired design is set to become a reality.
Going against the grain has been the key to Cobb’s success and AD is no exception. With Cobb at the helm, AD will focus on exclusivity, high-theatrics and the customer experience and is poised to fill a void in the city’s flourishing nightlife scene.
Cobb splits his time between Coronado California, Kailua Hawaii and Havana Cuba where he invests, owns and operates hospitality projects.
